The road to the chalet park named , Plas Panteidal holiday chalets is quite a windy and steep road but the views are beautiful. But if you have someone who is disabled or with a back problem the access to the chalet is quite difficult unfortunately. The nearest town is Aberdovey with nice shops including a chemist, coffee shops, cloth shops, souvenir and a convenience store. A couple of miles after Aberdovey there is Tywyn which has a large supermarket and the continued beach from Aberdovey. It is also round the coast from Barmouth too. The beach Is very long and suitable for dogs all year round aprart from the top beach in peak season. There is a harbour and great for crab fishing or taking out a boat.
